If the worst outcome is "the room looks less pretty" or "I need to reorder a cheap item," you're in Scenario 2. Cheap is fine.
If it's in between—annoying and expensive but not a safety hazard—you're in Scenario 3. Run the total math: purchase price plus delivery, installation time, and the chance you do it twice.
